Biography :

Jody founded Amos Production back in 1990 as a young DJ, eager to get into the entertainment industry. Jody studied Mass Communications at a local junior college with a goal of getting into radio or television broadcasting. Through the years, he DJ’ed thousands of events and many popular nightclubs throughout Northern California. As his reputation started to grow, he decided to bring on a few more DJ’s and purchase more DJ and lighting gear. That’s when he decided that he loved what he had going and decided not to pursue the broadcasting career. During his college years, Jody met a handful of guys in his broadcasting classes that are still on board with Amos Productions today (Ray, Franco, Jeff, and Rocky). That is when he decided to introduced Video Productions to his list of services (1994). Now, with over 20 years of experience with sound, lighting, audio visual, video production and broadcasting, Jody concentrates on the larger productions that we do here at Amos Productions. In 2008, Jody recieved his certification in rigging from Donnovan Rigging to take his production skills to the next level. Now he can safely “hang” lighting, speakers or visuals overhead in large event centers. Today, Jody still continues his education in entertainment rigging and event production in classes throughout the country.
